Turning over a new leaf...

Turning over a new leaf...

Once again it's that time of the year, the clocks went back and we gained one precious hour! Did you clutch onto the bed covers and enjoy some well deserved zzz's or did you rise and shine and say 'Hello beautiful world!'. There's no right or wrong answer. Just seizing the moment and doing what you think is right for you is the most important thing.

I really do love this time of the year with golden leaves tumbling from tree tops and the sweet smell of autumn lingering in the air. Pure bliss!

The changing season is symbolic, an end of a chapter that gives way to new and unwritten pages.

Change happens in our lives for so many reasons. Try and see it as a good thing and embrace it. Turning over a new leaf, is the perfect opportunity to let go of all that has happened in the past. The shift, as I call it, from one season to the next is a fantastic time to venture onto pastures new.  The focus now is to channel your new energy into accomplishing those ideas and projects you have always wanted to do. Try it, turn over a new leaf, it's so liberating. Not only is it liberating, but it will allow you to have a sense of purpose and free you to be in a position to help others too. But to do this, you have to take care of yourself first because in truth no matter how much you may want to be of use, you can't pour from an empty cup.

Thank you so very much to all of you that came to my first Talk About Town Live debate show. The subject of 'Where do you call home?' continues, with many still writing to me with their thoughts. Without a shadow of a doubt everyone agrees that having friends and a good network of people around means home can be anywhere. And for sure, home is definitely where the heart is. See the photos.

Have a wonderful November!
