If You Build It, They Will Come...

If You Build It, They Will Come...

There are many films I love to watch but one film in particular has me hooked to the screen no matter how many times it is on the television... The Field of Dreams starring Kevin Costner, could be reason enough to watch the film time and time again but it is actually one line that fills me with such energy and determination: 'If you build it, he will come...'. Taking the broader view 'they will come', to me says that whatever we dream of doing, and no matter how impossible it may seem, if you try and if you are prepared to put heart and soul, why should it not succeed?

Other sayings such as 'Rome wasn't built in a day', signifies that you need time to create great things. Fuelled with passion and motivation, anything can be achieved but the key is to NEVER GIVE UP!

I have enjoyed creating situations that bring like-minded people together. The recent Talk About Town event in Nice brought together so many interesting people and with the title of the debate being 'Where do you call home?', we heard wonderful stories from so many people. Our panel with their wealth of experiences of expat living gave us the most entertaining evening. Thank you to Burton Gintell, President of The American Club of the Riviera - Petra Hall, Editor-in-Chief of Riviera Insider, Simon Verity, Financial expert with Blacktower Financial Management and Carol Drinkwater, Author, Actress and Filmmaker. See photos from the event HERE. The question of home is something that touches us all in very different ways. And whether you have found your home or still searching, wherever it may be, I hope it is full of love and joy and surrounded by those you love and good friends who make you feel absolutely fabulous!

And here we are in the month of May... May you continue to dream, and continue to love and enjoy all that you do.
