Here comes the sun...
How lovely it is to once again feel the warm air and see a return to brighter, lighter, longer days. What a tonic and morale booster it is spending more time outdoors in the sunshine. The bees are already getting busy, the birds are chirping and it's wonderful to witness nature coming alive. Spring is really on the way!
I don't actually mind the winter, not with the roaring fires and hot tasty comfort foods but... how lovely it is to start to peel away the layers and to ditch the woollies and boots for pretty tops and flip flops.
Even when it rains here it still looks beautiful, especially with the clouds wrapping themselves around the mountain tops and hanging in the valleys, but then... when the sun peeks through, what a sight!
Just one of many great things that happens when the sun comes out, are the precious moments spent with friends outdoors and stocking up on all that lovely 'sunshine vitamin' that we absorb from our bright yellow ball in the sky. As spring takes hold colours are reborn, punching their way through budding flowers... blooming marvellous! And as time goes by our terraces and gardens explode to become works of natural art.
Well I am going to call it a wrap for now because there's a lot to do and guess what? Here comes the sun.... and I want to enjoy every second of it.
Wishing you the most fabulous March and oh, don't forget, the clocks go forward one hour on 26th March 2017 at 2am and then it really will be the 1st day of spring... See you soon!
