Congratulations to Ladies Lunch Monte Carlo for raising over €50,000 for their chosen charity.

The association D’AMORE PSY assists families and friends of those suffering from psychiatric illnesses.

The funds will assist this young association achieve their goals:

• The creation of a non-medical centre in the Principality that will end the isolation of our sick children and integrate them into the social life through cultural and leisure activities.
   
• The organization of the « First Monegasque Conference on Mental Health » Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Auditorium Rainier III, featuring world famous Leaders in Psychiatry, with the theme « The family coping with Psychiatric Disorders»

The event at the Hotel Metropole started with cocktails. On show was a splendid display of jewels by sponsors Piaget. The guests were later treated to a wonderful fashion show by Swiss designers Akris.

In a time when money is a concern, it is amazing to see the support given by women who are wanting to give something back to society.
