SERIES OF CULTURAL SEASON PRESENTATIONS AT CREM – The Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra

On Thursday, September 27th Mr Jean Castellini gave a lively presentation of the 2012-2013 musical season of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra. The musical journey started with the "Great Season" concerts to be played in the Grimaldi Forum and the Auditorium Rainier III that go from Beethoven’s Eroica symphony Nbr 3 under the direction of Kazuki Yamada, to Sibelius symphony No 2, and Sir William Walton’s "Crown Imperial" concert scheduled on June 2nd, 1013 on the ocassion of the 60th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of England.  His presentation went through the upcoming concerts in intimate venues like the magnificent Salle Garnier, to the Spiritual Concerts to take place in the Monaco Cathedral and the Saint Charles Church. Jean Castellini’s spirited presentation interspersed with musical extracts delighted the audience of foreign résidents who were eager to book the concerts. He acknowledged the presence of Mr Werner Peyer, CEO of CMB Bank main sponsor of the Orchestra, and musicians like violinist Zhang Zhang and concert pianist Shani Diluka.
