Colonel Serge Lamblin, Alexander Moghadam and Patricia Lamblin

On Tuesday, January 8th Gallery Moghadam invited a selected few to a Cocktail at Hotel Metropole in Monte-Carlo, for a private exhibition of their best oriental carpets from their extensive collection that took 50 years in the making. Beautiful carpets from Tabriz in the north-west of Iran for many centuries one of the great Persian towns, from Isfahan in the center of Iran that was the capital of Persia until the end of the 19th century, from Ghom to the south of Thran, or from Kashan from the time of the Persian Renaissance.  Every carpet tells a story in the same way as paintings do.

The exhibition was titled 'White Winter'.
