Ramon Reiss and Luciana de Montigny from the Brazil Monaco Project with Nureyev’s portraits exhibited at the Metropole Hotel

Reis & Maas art gallery in Monaco in partnership with the Metropole Hotel and painter Una St Tropez have joined forces to honor celebrated Russian ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev to mark the 20th anniversary of his disappearance.

Una St Tropez will exhibit a selection of the dancer’s portraits from her original collection « Dialogue with Nureyev » from January 8th through to 31st at the Metropole, while Brazilian choreographer Ramon Reiss of the Reis Dance Company will create a ballet inspired on these paintings.

The idea is to establish a true dialogue between the painter and her model, and the dancers and their idol. This show will be then presented in St. Petersbourg, Moscow, Dubai and Rio in partnership with Unesco’s International Dance Council, the Honorary Consulate of Brazil in Monaco, the Brazil Monaco Project and the Reis Dance Company.  A Press Conference followed by a private viewing will take place on Tuesday, January 15th at the Hotel Metropole.
