ISM Students with their awards surrounding HIRH Herta Margarete Habsburg Lothringen and the Young Flame of Peace Award.

The International School of Monaco (ISM) received the Young Flame of Peace Award from HIRH Herta Margarete Habsburg Lothringen, Archduchess of Austria, Princess of Tuscany, for their participation in the United Nations « Art for Peace  2012» project. The ISM students submitted their artwork inspired on the theme « Imagine a world free of nuclear weapons » joining thousands of young children from around the world.

The Flame of Peace award is given to exemplary educational organizations makes them visible as a role model for a successful coexistence and inspires others. The objective is to inspire young people to engage in peace activities and become part of a worldwide network of ambassadors of tolerance, friendship and cultural understanding across borders.
