Caterina Reviglio Sonnino receiving the prize from Edouard Cointreau in Paris

During the Culinary Festival Paris Cookbook 2013, the book « Madame est servi » that translates to « Dinner is served », by Monegasque resident Caterina Reviglio Sonnino, received the Best Cookbook prize in the category « Special Awards of the International Jury ».

More than 171 countries competed this year for the different Gourmand Prizes that were given by Edouard Cointreau, from the Cointreau liqueur family on his paternal side and Cognacs Frapin and Remy Martin on his maternal side, founder and president of the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards,  during the gala dinner in front of an international audience of more than 1000 people. During her presentation Caterina gave tribute to the Principality with her table « Homage to the Principality of Monaco » composed of white and red roses representing the official colours and a decoration of elegant nacre shells symbolizing the Mediterranean Sea.
