Ernests Gulbis-Latvia and Benjamin Balleret-Monaco

On the final day of Davis Cup, the Monegasque players fought a good fight but Latvia ended up victorious 3-2 and they will face Finland next. In the first singles Latvian bad boy Ernests Gulbis won over Benjamin Balleret as expected being the better ranked player, but he should also get the prize for the worst behaved. In the second match Jean-Rene Lisnard took the first set with ease but lost the second and third to Andis Juska and had to retire in the fourth due to injury. It was a great weekend of tennis at the Monte-Carlo Country Club that next week will welcome the best players in the world for the Rolex Masters from April 13 to 21.
