The Trophy

The Main Draw for the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters took place in the Salle Blanche of the Casino at noon, in the presence of Spanish player Rafael Nadal, who set a record in the history of the tournament and in world tennis becoming last year the first player to win the same tournament eight consecutive times, and who is the favourite to win it again!

Among the dignitaries present were Paul Masseron, Minister of Interior, Elisabeth-Ann de Massy, President of the Monegasque Tennis Federation, President of the Monte-Carlo Country Club and President of the Tournament Committee, her daughter Melanie Antoinette de Massy, Zeljko Franulovic, Tournament Director and other important personalities of the Principality.
