 Rafael Nadal & Jo-Wilfred Tsonga

The 27 year-old Jo-Wilfred Tsonga French No. 1 is ready to tackle the courts of the Monte-Carlo Country Club having already won on clay during the singles in the Davis Cup against Argentina that France lost.  He likes the pressure of the draw and will be good practice for his participation in Roland Garros in May.

Spanish Rafael Nadal who is 26 years old and has an incredible record on all surfaces (11 Grand Slams and 22 titles in Masters 1000) said he is a candidate to victory in Monte-Carlo even if he is not the favourite. He made an impressive come back to the circuit after seven months away from the courts due to a left knee injury, making it to four finals and obtaining three titles. Rafa or “The Toro” is back and ready to fight to achieve his ninth consecutive win.
