The grand opening  with a private dinner took place for selected VIP guests. Nobu is one of the most recognized Japanese restaurants, known for its inventive new style cuisine, created by world-class master chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa who has expanded his kingdom to 22 locations frequented by the “in” crowd in cities like New York, Miami, London, Milan, Tokyo, Melbourne, Cape Town to just name a few, and has now set foot in Monte-Carlo until 9th June. Xavier Rugeroni, General Manager of the Fairmont Hotel did not confirm if Nobu would definitely settle in the Fairmont, but he loves the idea to house such a prestigious restaurant in his hotel, and told the press, “You will certainly be the first to know.”

The menu is delicious, especially the above photographed Nobu signature dish “Black cod yuzu miso”, so good it was OK to lick your fingers.

For reservations +377 9770 7097, open for lunch and dinner from Monday through Sunday until June 9th, 2013.
