As part of their European Conference the Junior International Chamber (JCI) organized interesting presentations at the Grimaldi Forum by renowned keynote speakers including Monaco residents entrepreneurs Stelios from Easy Jet, Gildo Pastor from Venturi as well as Philippe Sajhau from Smarter Cities, IBM France. But by far the most moving presenter was German 13 year-old Felix Finkbeiner of the association Plant for the Planet.
Felix is an environmental action hero leading a global network of child activists who are actively involved in saving our planet by planting trees, because as he says trees are the only “machines” that can capture greenhouse gases (CO2). Young Felix is successfully spreading the message of planting millions of trees around the world. His motto is “Stop Talking, Start Planting.” You can also be part of this movement by pledging to plant a certain number of trees or making a cash donation where one Euro buys one tree by going to www.plant-for-the-planet.org.
