Americans celebrated Independence Day on 4th July, so I decided to feature this month some of the wonderful American women that live and work on the Riviera. We live in such a dynamic area with so many different nationalities and all contribute and make the Riviera one of the most vibrant and culturally fantastic of places to live. We are so lucky! We have seen ourselves with our new group Britalia, and although our common language may be English, the knowledge and experiences of our homelands keeps each person unique and interesting and yet we can speak with one voice. I cease to be amazed!
"Our true nationality is mankind" H. G. Wells
It is summer and although it appears that our weather pattern appears to be a little erratic this year, at least we can enjoy the wonderful towns and villages and countries that we live so closely to. Happy summer...
