The American Club of the Riviera have arranged lunch in the very middle of the Croisette right in the midst of all “the players” and atmosphere of this 68th International Festival. Here you will enjoy an excellent lunch with Club members and guests at the 3.14 Plage Restaurant on the Croisette beach, just in front of the Carlton Hotel.

For the first time in the history of the Festival, not one but two leading figures will chair the Jury for the Palme d’Or: American film-makers Ethan and Joel Coen (pictured above). The Official Poster features Ingrid Bergman (center above), and also in the 1993 version (right above).

Cannes is very animated during the Festival from Wednesday May 13 to Sunday May 24 and the atmosphere can perhaps be best enjoyed on foot.  The walk to the Palais des Festival is an easy and pleasant one along the sea and the Croisette.

At noon, aperitifs, enhanced by palm trees, white sand and azure sea. A fine 3-course luncheon (with all beverages) will follow, augmented by insights from film industry professionals, as well as the famous film quiz.
