Marie-Louise Bang was born in Denmark and now works from her art studio in Saint-Paul de Vence. For anyone having the opportunity to meet with Marie-Louise, will see the synergy between her work and herself, for she is bright, vivacious and full of surprises.
The paintings are produced using mixed media, linen and canvas and the bold use of colour give texture and definition. There's a great use of light that gves the paintings that 3 dimensional feel, adding interest and intrigue.
Marie-Louise works closely with her artist partner Gui Lessin. This collaboration is a life-long commitment that has them working side by side at all times. The results of their work are explosive!
