Fashionably Late... Sweet 2016

We made it! Another new year and 12 blank canvases waiting to be filled. And to start the new year I have broken with tradition and my newsletter, as you can see, has not arrived in your inbox on the usual 1st of the month but a few days later. I thought I would be fashionably late!

Actually I was being considerate as I am sure you will have been wading through email after email, all wishing you a very happy new year! And now you are going to hear it again: Happy Sweet 2016! May your year be full of sugar and spice and all things nice!

There is a great deal of positive energy in the air, even amongst all the negative news that plagues our newspapers, TV screens and web pages. But as one wise person said:

"You have three choices in life: Give up, give in, or give it all you’ve got."
~ Charleston Parker ~

What are you going to choose?

The new year is not always about new starts, it is also about continuity and growing from strength to strength using everything that you have. Even at times when you feel like you are stuck in a rut, don't abandon the car, sometimes all you need to do is change the wheels. Keep the faith, trust that gut instinct and get back behind the steering wheel, fasten your seat belt and drive. You can never be 100% sure where you will end up, but there is no reason why you can't enjoy the journey because one thing for sure, it is going to be an interesting ride. Oh yes!

As each year goes by, I find myself being more selective in so so many ways. Make no mistake, out of sight does not mean out of mind, in fact quite the opposite. There are times though when you need to step back in order to get a broader view, and then all will become clear.

This year is about values. I will continue creating, building, expanding and I hope, from the bottom of my heart that I can enjoy your ongoing support. The Riviera Woman exists because of your support and I am looking forward to making the most of Sweet 2016 with you! Let's do it!
