Vaseline is a form of petroleum jelly which is used as an ointment and lubricant. There are also many wonderful uses with Vaseline and as well as in the home, it is worth keeping a little pot in your handbag.

• With Halloween coming up later this month, coat the inside of your pumpkin wth some Vaseline after you carve it, and this will help to make it last longer.
   
• Scuff marks on your patent shoes? Use a little cottonwool bud dipped in Vaseline to remove the mark.
   
• Rub Vaseline into your nails and the result is beautiful cuticles.
   
• Great for your lips to protect from cracking or chapping, especially during the winter months.
   
• If you don't like using mascara, coat your eyelashes with Vaseline which will make them look longer and condition them at the same time.
   
• If you have a cold and your nose is sore, rub a little Vaseline to soothe it.
   
• Smooth Vaseline along your eyebrow fr a strong and tidy look.
   
• For the catwalk look, rub a little Vaseline into your cheekbones for long lasting shine.
