For many aspiring fashion designers, having a creative talent does not guarantee a successful business? It's a very competitve and expensive industry and perhaps the key to success is being niche, having the confidence to know who you are as an artist and having a very good business head on your shoulders.
Evgenia Tsukur is Russian. She is an artist and started creating fashion designs from a young age. She later moved to the Czech Republic before settling in Bordighera, Italy.

J. Zukur is the brand name Evgenia created forher designs. Using fine quality fabrics, her pieces are clean and simple and there is a notable theme with the lines of the garments. The attention to detail is delicate and not over fussy. A lovely touch is the extravagant linings used in her jackets and coats that really give the garment that extra sense of luxury.
Evgenia has partnered with Monica Pallanca (as seen in photo above) and together they have their atelier/workshop in Bordighera. Viewings are arranged by appointment. They have an exciting journey ahead and are already concentrating on the new collection.
