We met with Amy Thornton and Lewis Davies who play Carmen and Tyrone in the production of the hit '80s musical Fame, running at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

We are talking feel good factor here and turning dreams and passions into reality. The theatre is a place where emotions, expressions and adrenalin have no limits.

I found it refreshing and stimulating to speak with two young actors who are well aware of how tough the world of theatre actually is. And yet to see the passion and fire in their eyes when they spoke of their roles, the theatre and what it means to them, it was so infectious and upbeat.

There are many who chase the dream and the reason that FAME is a success is because the dream will be craved forever. I recall my own theatre days of repertory and radio and when I spoke to Amy and Lewis about the original movie FAME, I found an innocent comment absolutely staggering: "Yeah my mum also remembers watching it..." Was it really that long ago!!

If you have 'Passion' you can conquer the world but for a few performances more, Amy and Lewis will conquer the audiences of Monaco and I am sure it won't be the last we hear of them.

Bravo! Encore...
