The eye area is one of the first places to show the signs of aging. Eyes quickly register stress and fatigue, and as we age, crow's feet and frown lines don't smooth out once a crisis is over because the steady pull of muscles has stretched skin beyond the point of return, creating lines that are evident in repose.

You should only use creams specifically designed for the area of the eyes.

Your eyes are the windows to your soul. Be practical! Eating a balanced diet can help prevent some eye conditions. Fruits and vegetables such as spinach, red peppers, kale, leeks, avocados, peaches and blueberries contain antioxidants which can protect against age-related macular degeneration. Drink plenty of water on a daily basis. Maintain a healthy weight. Limit the amount of alcohol you drink. Getting plenty of exercise will benefit your eyesight as it increases the amount of oxygen in the eye. Smoking can seriously damage your eyesight.
