Dress to impress. Make a good first impression.

In this week's edition of The Riviera Woman, we get top tips from a local boutique owner on what to wear when you need to make a good first impression.

Going for an interview or to a business meeting is daunting enough without the problem of what to wear.

The Autumn and Winter collection is here.

Styles are simple and colour certainly play a big part this season and look out for GREYS, PURPLES, BLUES, GREENS and hot PINK.

Giuliana and Alessandra have put together an ensemble for when those cooler days arrive. Grey tailored trousers and matching jacket, nicely fused with a hint of purple in the way of a high neck jumper. Fur trims are making a big appearance this year, either in the collar of a garment or as a scarf.

Keep it simple and chic with just enough detail to show your interesting personality.

If you need to show your creative side, make a statement with your jacket and keep the tones similar with a plain shirt. Trousers as shown here are pale to emphasise the detail of the jacket and work well on a sunny autumnal day.

Now go and get that job!

Next time, we'll be back with BLACK!

Special thanks to Giuliana and Alessandra of Le Nine in Ventimiglia
