Deborah Sheffield of Corkers Fine Wines is certainly thinking love, as she recommends something to add the sparkle into your lovelife!

Pelorus 2001 sparkling wine
from Cloudy Bay, New Zealand.

Not allowed to be called Champagne this superb sparkling white wine from the makers of the famous white wine, Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc in New Zealand.

Made in limited quantities since 1987, Pelorus Vintage is a complex blend of pinot noir and chardonnay. Released at four years of age, the style is generous and full-bodied, brimming with richly concentrated fruit and a creamy mousse.

Brimmming with aromas reminiscent of a warm tarte tatin ... caramelised butter, ripe red apples, and freshly whipped cream.  PELORUS VINTAGE 2001 has a tight, richly textured palate, enhanced by grapefruit and almond flavours ... with a flinty mineral character and delicate floral nuances. A generous and flavoursome wine with an elegant, lingering finish.

An excellent choice for Valentine's Day!

Available from Corkers Fine Wines for €28.00 per bottle delivered to your home!
