This February Deborah Sheffield of Corkers Fine Wines has selected
a sparkling wine by Les Jamelles.

Les Jamelles Methode Traditionelle Brut

Internationally recognized as crafters of still wines in France's Languedoc-Roussillon region, we are convinced that a sparking Chardonnay - Pinot Noir produced according to the traditional method has a legitimate place in the "Les Jamelles" range.

This sparking wine is produced with the same two noble Burgundian varietals that go into the legendary crémants to yield an authentic, subtle wine. This is an invitation to pleasure, a promise of conviviality.

The bubbles are fine and long-lasting, rising like a delicate strand of pearls to form a narrow ribbon of mousse along the sides of the glass. This sparkling wine, with its lovely greenish-gold colour boasting brilliant highlights, features lovely vivacity on the nose and is redolent of delicious aromas of tropical fruits (mango) and dried apricot as well as buttery notes of brioche. The flavours on the palate are refreshing and finish on the palate are refreshing and finish on a slightly mentholated note.

The sparkling wine (not allowed to be called Champagne) is a very realistic price €14.00 TTC
