Please 'LIKE' our new The Riviera Woman Page! Thank you.
March was indeed a month full of colour, culture, carnivals, celebrations and where East meets West. The clocks went forward one hour and the thermometres have gained a few degrees.
We have a touch of the East in some of our webzine pages. Monaco hosted one of the biggest weddings of all time and Casino Square was transformed into a blaze of colour as India fever took to the streets. Indian weddings are steeped in rich culture and tradition and the stunning bride was adorned beautifully displaying her pre-wedding ritual known as 'Mehendi'.
The wedding industry inspired the 'Anna Fill Interviews' and my two guests were Grisel Damgaard of Monte Carlo Weddings, whose company was responsible for the beautiful Indian wedding, and Anne Naylor, Reverend and Inspirational speaker and writer, who is a regular on The Riviera Woman.
Our Chatroom discussed 'Life After Divorce' and the opportunities it can bring. Joining me at Fusion, Stars'n'bars in Monaco were Dani Carew, Deborah Ives and Courtney McConnel.
It really has been a month for inspirational women. On International Women's Day on March 8th, Ludmilla Arsenieva of the Russian Art Gallery Carré Doré, gave us an insight to Russian culture on this special day for women.
Ladies Lunch Monte Carlo have once again excelled themselves by raising a great deal of money for their chosen charity and I would like to thank Baroness Cécile de Massy and Celina Lafuente de Lavotha for introducing me to Miss Charlene Wittstock, the soon to be Princess of Monaco. It was a pleasure to have a short interview with her.
Our fashion highlight came from artist and fashion designer Elizabeth Wessel. Her Spring/Summer 2011 collection titled 'the North Sea' was outstanding. Do enjoy watching the video of the show.
The musical 'Thriller Live' from the West End of London hit Monaco. The Michael Jackson beat box caused a frenzy amongst the audience, proving that we need more big theatre productions on the Riviera. I caught up with the cast and crew just before their opening show.
The show was extra special for one beautiful Riviera Woman. Lucy Bonser received a proposal of marriage at the Thriller Live show and she said 'Yes!' Congratulations Lucy!
Our Health and Beauty pages are influenced by Eastern therapies: Indian Head Massage and the Ayurvedic Massage. Beauty Therapist Sandra Macleod gives us Tips on Keeping your Skin Looking and Feeling Great.
