The 2010 International Schools Speech Contest was hosted by the Centre International de Valbonne and held in their theatre. Organised by The International Club of the Riviera and sponsored by Events By George, the event called upon ten speakers, each a pupil at one of the participating schools, to deliver a four-minute speech on a designated subject. The best five, as determined by a panel of three judges, went forward to a second round to deliver a speech of their own choosing. The winner was then announced.

Here are the contestants for the first round, each delivering a speech on the subject of "Celebrity Status". Please note that the video in the clips is of variable quality and intended mainly to support the audio recording.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

The judges then retired to pick the best five, and an hour or so later these were announced. Each of the five contestants delivered a second speech on a subject of their own choosing:

 
 
 
 
 

During a break between speeches, musical performances were given by groups of students, first from the International School of Nice and then from the International School of Monaco:
