Row, Row, Row the Boat

This weekend the Monaco Nautical Association (SNM) celebrates its 125th anniversary with the organization of the 9th edition of the Prince Albert II Cup rowing competition and the 1st edition of the Mediterranean Cup with special rowing clubs from the area. Founded in 1888 by 12 Monegasques as a Regattas Association that combined rowing and sailing, until 1953 when the Yacht Club of Monaco was created and took care of the yachting portion. The SNM now stands with more than 200 members from diverse nationalities. On Saturday they featured the 8km race and 6km for the juniors, with the prize ceremony and pasta party at the Yacht Club of Monaco (YCM). On Sunday morning they have scheduled the 2000m line-course for all categories, followed by the prize ceremony and cocktail buffet at the YCM at midday.
