As time goes by...
I am sure most of us say 'Where has the time gone!' Time seems to fly and we never really understand why. As we can see, one minute it was the height of summer and now we are in autumn! Yes! "Where did summer go!?" We live our lives according to clocks... for lunch, meetings, fetching children from school, social events and bedtime! Keeping to time is quite reassuring knowing that the outcome is a less chaotic existence, especially as we try to cram as much as possible into very little time, especially spare time.
As time goes by and we reflect on what has happened in our lives, it isn't the actual time we remember but what happened at that precise moment.
"Time is not measured by clocks but by moments..."
It is good to be aware and to be conscious of how we consume our time. Whether there are experiences in our lives that were good or bad does not matter because sometimes the less favourable times in our lives have been the gateway to great things and to better times. Let bad times be the catalyst for change and good times be what drives you to higher grounds. I can recall so many times in my life because of what took place, and many of these moments have been ones that I know have shaped me and enriched me. I am grateful for these wonderful memories. So yes, time passes by quickly, so create moments that will inspire you and moments that make you smile.
Talking of time... Don't forget that on the Sunday morning of 29th at 3am, the clocks go back one hour! Wishing you wonderful moments this autumn!
