A Scottish Banquet to Celebrate St. Andrew's Day

Charles Mclean, HSH Prince Albert, Dario & Anita Di Sotto

THE SCOTTISH OF THE ISLE OF SKYE ARRIVES IN MONACO.

On Friday, November 23rd, the Scots from the Island of Skye set foot in the Salle Belle Epoque of the Hermitage hotel in Monaco bringing their whisky, their music and culture, and a 7-course St. Andrews Banquet Dinner prepared under the supervision of Chef Michael Smith from the island’s famous restaurant Three Chimneys.

The guests had the chance to do a tasting of some exceptional rare Talisker single malts selected by Charles Mclean, world renowned expert and a patron of the Monte-Carlo Whisky Society.

HSH Prince Albert’s arrival was announced by the tunes of a Scottish bagpipe player. The fundraising auction benefiting the Prince Albert II Foundation,  included a luxury VIP tour of the Scottish Highlands with a glittering dinner in a Castle and more.  This truly Scottish evening was superbly organized by Monaco resident Anita Di Sotto who heads the House of Scotland - www.lamaisondecosse.com.
