Fantastic Italian Holiday for You and your Dog, 2011

Introduction

Taking your dog on holiday is probably one of the best experiences you can give your dog. It provides the opportunity to train and desensitise your dog to so many different environments, situations, stimuli and experiences, which can greatly aid your confidence in handling your dog. Adding to this, it provides a great opportunity to have fun with your dog and a chance to include your best friend in your future holidays.

This training holiday will provide you with the platform to practice for any future holidays you would like to take your dog on, together with professional and expert advice to guide you through training your dog to feel happy with travel, staying in hotels, sitting in restaurants, visiting historical sites, shops, markets and much more. It is essentially the perfect opportunity to prepare for taking your dog on holiday, where you can solely concentrate on your dog’s training needs, learn in a controlled and assuring environment where you do not have to worry, knowing you have the support of a professional behind you. You are also able to actively shape your dog’s behaviour when introducing your dog to these new experiences, while having a professional trainer by your side.

The Training Itinerary

Well I am so excited about our Italian escapade, I am so looking forward to welcoming you to our first Italian Doggy Training Holiday!! I really hope you can make it!!, do not miss out, book now!!

Our holiday officially starts when we meet in Monaco at 11.30am on Saturday 26th November, that’s right, no early morning start, you will be pleased to know!!

When we meet in Monaco, I will provide you with a welcome pack, along with a nice cup of coffee and a slice of cake.

Included in your welcome pack will be our itinerary for the holiday, outlining all the fun activities planned for our holiday, including eating in some great restaurants in lovely surroundings with simple, elegant and tasty food!, lots of lovely vineyard walks where the dogs can have a fantastic time playing together while you savour the beautiful scenary, a tour of the local wine houses, a visit to famous wine country, including Barbaresco, & Barolo, a lovely saunter around the interesting town of Alba where we will enjoy a coffee or a cocktail in the piazza, a lovely walk around La Morra where you can admire the outstanding panoramic view, as well as visit a fabulous local shop selling an array of delicious teas, champagnes, wines, chocolates and much much more. We can see some impressive castles and maybe we might sneak in a visit to a local truffle shop!!

We will all travel in convoy to our hotel so be sure to have some great tunes ready in your car!!

When we arrive at the hotel a glass of spumante will be waiting for us, as well as a delicious plate of antipasti! You can then kick back and relax and prepare for a lovely evening!

On our first night we will enjoy a special meal at our hotel Il Vigneto (www.ilvignetodiroddi.com) and a celebratory meal in the hotel restaurant on our last night in Italy, where we can share a glass of spumante and celebrate what a good time we have all had!!

We will arrive back in Monaco at midday on Tuesday 29th November, whilst thinking about next years holiday, where will we go next??

The training holiday will be lots of fun, giving you an opportunity to chat to other people who love dogs, enabling you to exchange experiences and most importantly continue to build that all important bond with your dog, whilst having a good time with friends!!

I look forward to seeing you there…

In preparation for your holiday check you dog’s microchip at your vets and be sure that all vaccinations are all up to date. Be sure to bring your dog’s passport along with you and any other relevant paperwork.

Look out for forthcoming events and adventures!!
