As true Brits we need to celebrate all that is majestic wherever we may be. Monaco was no exception and Commander Michael Healy, President of the Royal British Legion organised a fine soiree at the Yacht Club, in honour of Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee.

A beautiful evening allowed the guests all to enjoy the ambiance outdoors, with flying British bunting and affordable wine to raise our glasses for the Royal Toast.

Commander Healy during his speech read out the letter he received for Buckingham Palace and one received from HSH Prince Albert apologising for not being able to attend the event with Princess Charlene owing to commitments abroad.
