Suffer from sciatica anyone?
I often hear people complaining about sciatica issues, so here is a pose you can do to prevent/alleviate sciatica at home.
If you don’t have blocks available, you can use a table, couch or anything similar to lean on to. This is a standing variation of the half lotus (ardha padmasana).
It is important to keep the standing leg bent at all times to ensure the deep sciatic stretch on the upper bent leg. The sciatic nerve, which is the longest nerve we humans have, rarely gets stretched in our normal day to day routine.
