Artist Of The Month - Marta Grigorieva
Marta Grigorieva is a Russian born artist now living in Monaco. She is predominantly a portrait painter and works by commission. Marta started painting at the age of 11 and her studies include reading fine arts and art history at Harvard University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
Marta spent 5 years in Piemonte where she created a number of landscapes, before settling in Monaco in 2012.
An explosion of colour graces her paintings with hues dancing elegantly on the canvas fusing the light and shade. There is almost that feeling of peeping through a kaleidoscope when looking at Marta's work, full of surprise, wonder and pleasure.
