Tastes From Argentina On The Riviera
The second edition of the Argentine Gastronomic Festival in the French Riviera will take place from October 2 to 10, 2013, organized by the Argentine Embassy in France and Monaco in partnership with the Export.Ar Foundation. Prestigious restaurants in the Principality and France will participate in this epicurean festival using top quality products from that country in South America in their menus, under the guidance of the renowned Argentine 2-star Michelin Chef Mauro Colagreco, of Mirazur in Menton. Argentine cuisine maybe described as a cultural blending of Mediterranean influences created by Italian and Spanish populations within the wide scope of livestock and agricultural products abundant in the country.
Argentine people have a reputation for their love of eating as social gatherings are commonly cantered around sharing a meal, and where invitations for dinner at home is generally viewed as a symbol of friendship, and a way to show affection. Restaurants along the French Riviera from Menton, to Cannes will take part of this gastronomic program. In Monaco the restaurants BeefBar, a top quality steak house, and the modern brasserie Avenue 31, both from the Giraudi Group will be proposing a truly Argentine menu.
